Boho/Grecian Prom Look!

Hello everyone! I hope y'all are enjoying this beautiful afternoon!

I am back again with another look for my prom series. As I have mentioned before, I wish I would have done a lot more with my prom look. Since my prom days are long gone, I have taken the liberty to take part in inspiring all you lovely ladies out there stuck in a prom rut.

So for today's look, I decided to go a little on the earthy side and make a prom look dedicated to that.

Here's the final result:

I cannot tell you how much I really love this look, especially the dress (and the prom date, of course!)! It's so flowy and free, any girl would be lucky to wear something like this and yet, look amazing!

For the dress, I've decided to use a "grecian" style, which very much fits in to the "boho/hippie" look that a lot of gals like. When I saw this beautiful baby/sky blue, I nearly wept. It is so gorgeous and it fits so well with the vibe!

For the shoes, I wanted something a little classic, yet I wanted something that wouldn't over do it; so I chose a sorta strappy/babydoll kind of shoe. I was going to do a strappy sandal, but I wanted something more formal, thus this shoe.

The bag I just wanted to be simple. Clutches are very popular to carry around and I love the shape of this one. It's got a beautiful zippered detail as well as a very alternative shape. I thought it would be perfect with this dress.

I love bangles, so I decided to add a very boho stack of those and a nice elegant necklace to pair with the look.

As for the hair, I loved the "grecian" style hair look that a lot of celebs have sported, so I thought since the dress fits the vibe, I would have that incorporated into the look. It's very boho as well, so that's why it completes everything. For the lips, I kept those very neutral and for the eyes, those are left up to you. I would definitely do something very neutral as well. I would say very little make up.

Now I added a special bonus to this look because I thought it would be fun! I thought that since I have not talked about a perfect date for the oprom, I decided to place one in just for giggles.

I am obsessed with Matt Smith lately and if you know anything about him, he is currently the 11th Doctor on the hit BBC tv show Dr. Who. I absolutely love him in this show and I definitely love him as a person as well. He's a very indie type of guy, always spotted out at festivals and I love his look as well. 

I think he would be the best prom date in the world and I think that any lady would be lucky to have her arms around him....I know I definitely wouldn't complain!

So there ya have it! Another fabulous look done by yours truly! I think this one is definitely a winner, wouldn't you agree?

You could do anything you want to this look and it would still never die out.
